The 20 research-based policy recommendations were developed by over 300 scientists from reputable research organisations and think tanks. The twenty recommendations focus on the following policy areas:
- Building a stable, sustainable, and resilient global economy
- Climate policy and finance
- Fighting hunger, reducing inequalities, managing forced migration
The 2030 Agenda – a universal framework for human development and shared prosperity.
Of particular relevance to the African continent was that the T20 called on G20 to strengthen its relationship with Africa by considering a full and permanent seat for the African Union Commission in the G20 and its work streams.
